The object of the game of Enduroo is to guess the correct duration of any meeting before the meeting has started. The player whose guess comes closest to the actual duration of the meeting wins. (Note: A "meeting" in Enduroo means any conference call, video conference, web conference, teleconference, presentation or face-to-face meeting where people can use devices like laptops or smart phones.)
RULES OF THE GAME:
Playing Enduroo requires 2 or more meeting participants. Players can be any meeting participant, but cannot include the meeting leader or the most senior manager in the meeting, since those persons may exert unfair control over the meeting duration.
Before the meeting starts, each player enters his Target Meeting Duration. This is the player's guess as to the precise duration of the meeting in Hours: Minutes: Seconds. Players do not see the Target Meeting Durations entered by other players until the meeting ends and the winner is revealed.
The player who organizes the game gets to start the official meeting clock. During the meeting, players can see the meeting clock and their own Target Meeting Duration.
Precisely when the meeting ends, any player can stop the clock. At least one other player must confirm the meeting has ended, and the official time is then recorded, and the winning Target Meeting Duration is revealed.
HOW TO WIN:
Enduroo is a game of skill, not luck. The strategy for winning Enduroo is to manipulate the meeting dynamics to make the actual meeting duration match your Target Meeting Duration. This may require you to encourage a quick end to the meeting, or raise questions or comments to extend the time. Listen to what other meeting participants are saying and you may be able to tell who is trying to extend or shorten the meeting duration. Some people will be Enduroo allies, some will be Enduroo enemies.
